EmPOWER Maryland has improved energy efficiency, saving money for Marylanders. We’re calling on the Maryland General Assembly to support the EmPOWER Maryland Energy Efficiency Act of 2024.

THe MDE Permitting Authority bill will advance equity, improve health, and strengthen our state by helping to end environmental racism and injustice in Maryland. It will do so by improving the process by which polluters obtain state permits to build industrial facilities, major highways, and other potentially dangerous projects.
