Coalition Champions Top Priorities for Equitable Climate Solutions

Coalition urges lawmakers to pass key bills addressing pollution, clean energy, and community health

ANNAPOLIS, March 11, 2025 – Maryland Climate Partners is a coalition of over one hundred environmental, faith, consumer advocacy and social justice organizations focused on ensuring equitable implementation of the Climate Solutions Now Act (CSNA). The coalition formed in 2021 to support the passage of bold climate legislation, engaging thousands of Marylanders to contribute their voices to this critical conversation.

Climate action reduces pollution, generates affordable clean energy, and invests in our communities. Maryland Climate Partners advocates for policies that ensure full and equitable implementation of the CSNA. These policies help address some of Maryland’s most pressing challenges: improving health, reducing energy costs, supporting local jobs, improving transportation infrastructure, and raising revenue without taxing Maryland residents.

We envision a future of a sustainable, healthy, affordable, and equitable Maryland. In support of this vision, we have identified the following priority bills for the 2025 legislative session.
